Barbara Lynn “Bugg” Albarado, 69 of Windsor, Colorado passed away peacefully at home on October 27, 2021.
Barbara was born September 10, 1952, to Leonard and Hilda (Schreiwer) Behnsch in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated from East Central High School. She lived New Mexico from 1952-1954 and France from 1954-1958. In 1958 she moved to San Antonio, Texas and lived there until she moved to Colorado in 2007.
Barbara enjoyed painting, crochet, and spending time with her grandchildren, Elena
(8) and Alexander (5).
Barbara is survived by her daughters Katarina “Neena” Keil and Sondra Albarado; siblings Mary Ann Simola, Sonny Behnsch, and Jean Henderson; and her grandchildren Elena and Alexander.
She is preceded in death by parents (Leonard and Hilda) and siblings Frank, Donald, James Behnsch.

She was a mother, and a mentor. Whether she was helping out as a Girl Scout troop mom, a band/softball/choir mom, a horse mom, or driving us to field trips, she was always there, cheering us on, and supporting our dreams. She was a second mom to many, and her heart, and kitchen, were always open to our friends and family that needed a little extra food for their soul.
