Carolynn Kaye Medina, 67, of Windsor, passed away May 14, 2019, at Pathways Hospice in Loveland.
Carolynn was born Oct. 22, 1951, to Milton and Ruth Ann (Metteer) Droescher in Norfolk, Nebraska.
She graduated from Norfolk Senior High School and went on to get her Certified Nursing Assistant Degree and Cosmetology License.
She married Felix Medina in June 1978 in Windsor, Colorado.
Carolynn had various occupations including the owner/operator of About Face. She recently retired from State Farm in 2016. She was an active member of the Vineyard Church of the Rockies in Windsor. She also enjoyed gambling, playing cards, camping, and traveling with family. She was an avid Huskers, Broncos and Rockies fan.
Carolynn is survived by her daughters Carrie (Kirk) Bauer, Gail (Jory) Wilcox; son Chris (Katelyn) Medina; Stepsons Dean (Aurora) Medina, David (Juanita) Medina and Stepdaughter Suzanne (Joe) Gonzalez; her twin sister Marilynn (Tom) Sporleder; sisters Debbie Berry and Tammie (Rob) Etl. She also has multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Felix Medina.
A celebration of Carolynn’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 20, at Vineyard Church, 1450 Westwood Drive, Windsor, 80550.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 109 Emergency Relief Fund, 624 Ash St., Windsor, CO, 80550.
