Charlotte Ann “Squirt” Clay, 86, of Windsor, joined her heavenly father on September 26, 2021, in Greeley.
Charlotte was born January 13, 1935, to Ben and Lola (Shellenberger) Clay, in Pierson, Iowa. She graduated from Taylor High School in Taylor, Nebraska. She earned her nursing degree from Larimer County VoTec (Front Range Community College) in 1982 and worked at Windsor Health Care Center in Windsor, Colorado for 18 years. She was a member of Windsor Assembly of God Church, Tuesday Angels and the Red Hat Society. She volunteered for the Clothes Closet, enjoyed activities at the Senior Center, bird watching, and spending time with her many friends.
She is survived by her daughters Loretta Jones of Greeley; Peggy Jean Clay of Loveland; granddaughter Emily Clay, and close friends John and Denise Armour.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents; brother Robert Glen (Mary) Clay; and former husband James Andrews.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, October 15, at Faith Church Windsor, 1020 Walnut St.
