Fred Edward Lohry, 89, of Windsor, Colorado, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025.
Fred was born on December 6, 1935, in Windsor, Colorado, to Andrew and Anna Lohry. He attended Windsor High School and went on to serve his country proudly after being drafted into the U.S. Army in 1959. He was honorably discharged in 1963.
On February 20, 1959, Fred married the love of his life, Betty Margheim, at Fort Riley Army Base in Kansas. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised three children: William, Gail, and John.
Fred worked for Kodak for many years before retiring in 1995. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, gambling, and most of all, spending time with his family. He had a great sense of humor, a warm heart, and a deep love for all his four-legged companions.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings Elizabeth, Robert, and his twin brother Harry; his beloved wife Betty; and his son John.
He is survived by his daughter Gail (Scott), son William (Sheryl), six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and his loyal dog Clara.
Fred will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
