Gina Decker

Gina Marie Decker (Cota), age 58, after a long battle with chronic illnesses passed away peacefully at home in Wellington, CO on September 17, 2024.Gina was born March 5, 1966, in Downey, CA and grew up in Norwalk, CA. She attended Santa Fe Springs HS and Rio Hondo community college.

Gina had a son, Matthew, aka (Roxy) and moved to Murrieta, CA. In 1995. Gina met her husband Brian in 2000 and married in 2003. Gina then got the gift of three stepchildren which she helped raise and thrive. Gina ‘s favorite time was always family time! Gina loved to take trips with the family and moved with Brian and the kids to help further his career. Gina was a trooper and was always ready for the next adventure. Gina was always happy with what she had, made the best of any situation and always supported her husband and family.

Gina loved to sing! Gina was an artist and an awarded poet from the Poetry Society of America. Gina hosted Karaoke and often won Karaoke contests. Gina had been offered a singing career but chose to focus on family instead. Gina had a free spirit and always lived for today. She would always take the time to help others in any way she could. Gina had a positive outlook on life, she always wanted the best for everyone! 11:11!

Gina is survived by her husband Brian, son Matthew (Roxy) and three stepchildren, Dr. Kendra Dahmer, Shani Dahmer and Atlas Dahmer. Sister-in-law Becky Butters and Father-in-law Bill Dahmer.
