Gregory Scott Kerr, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, passed away on March 8 at the age of 67. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Scott was born on March 8, 1957, and throughout his life, he made significant contributions to both Schmidt Earth Builders and North Weld County Water District with his dedication and hard work. However, beyond his professional accomplishments, Scott’s true joy came from his family, spending time with his 3 rescue dogs and helping others. His witty personality brought light and laughter to many, making him a cherished companion to those around him.
In his leisure time, Scott found solace in his weekly “book club” gatherings with friends. He also had a passion for exploring new destinations through travel and showcasing his talents as a skilled handyman.
Scott is survived by his loving spouse Kathy Kerr, devoted children Jennifer Kerr and Travis Kerr, adoring grandson Ryder McPhee, sisters Deanna Anderson, Melanie Dalen, and Cheryl (Tim) Fehler, along with several nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his mother Joyce Fehler and father James Kerr.
Although Scott has left this world, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace knowing he touched the lives of many with his kindness and generous spirit.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to Stand Up For Pits Foundation (standupforpits.us).
