Jenny was born on Feb 18, 1935, during the Great Depression in rural South Dakota to William and Marie Peck, she passed away on July 8, 2024. Jenny comes from a large family and is survived by her 6 children, 5 stepchildren, 4 daughters in laws, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Jenny lived in Northern California for most of her life, living in San Jose, Santa Clara, Redwood City, Yuba City, Rocklin, and Patterson. In November of 2023, she came to live with her son and his wife in Greeley Colorado. She loved to play cards, watch the news, watch football and was one of the biggest 49er fans. She loved to go out shopping, to the park, and any activity that got her out of the house. She was very social, had many friends, and loved to converse with anyone she could. She had her opinions and would often voice them unedited which showed her feisty side. She was the last surviving sibling of her "Peck" lineage, having lived 89 years. She was a wealth of stories and family history, and she was always willing to share them. She lived an amazing life filled with love, joy, laughter, but also challenges, resilience, and perseverance that made her the unique person she was. Those that knew her, will never forget her laugh and her love of friends and family. She is proceeded in death by her patents, her husband, Raymond Dean King, and all of her 11 siblings. May she rest in peace.
