Jesse Benivides

Jesse (Chuy) Benavides was born April 5, 1947 in Hail Center, TX. He died on May 11, 2023 at the age of 76 in Fort Collins, Co.

He was the youngest of 9 children. Jesse married the love of his life Erlinda Luna on February 2, 1972. He lived most of his life is Windsor for 51 years. We worked at the sugar factory for 23 years, he also worked at Great Western for 10 years.

He is survived by his wife Erlinda Benavides of Windsor, Brother Mike Benavides of Idaho, Sister Eloisa Rodriguez of Texas and many nieces and nephews.

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents Manuel Benavides and Rufina Rodriguez, 4 brothers, 2 sisters and his mama Dometillia Luna Vasquez.

Jesse will always be remembered as a gentle giant. He was a wonderful husband and everyone’s uncle and friend.

Jesse will truly be missed.
