Judith Ann Young, 77, of Windsor, passed away Feb. 2, 2019, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.
She was born Oct. 26, 1941, in Greeley to Harold C. and Wilama June (Mason) Feit.
Judy graduated from the Cache LaPorte High School in 1959 and then went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Northern Colorado.
She worked as a teacher, from pre-school to junior college, working at Florence High School, Centennial High School, Dayspring Christian Schools, and Hillside Baptist Child Development Center.
Judy was a member of the Connections Church in Fort Collins. She enjoyed painting, sewing, quilting and teaching. She was also known for always loving others.
Judy is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Young of Windsor; sons J. Mason (Bobetta) Young of Monument, Christopher (Jody) Young of Evans; daughters Margaret (Shane) Chavez of Greeley, and Katherine (Derek) Dunn of Greeley; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold C. and Wilma Feit.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 11, at Cornerstone Community Church, 1321 9th Ave., Greeley. Interment will be at Mizpah Cemetery in Platteville.
