Obituary for June Alice Adams
June 27, 1930- February 18, 2019
June Alice Adams, 88, of Gill went to be with her Savior and Lord at her home with family at her side on February 18, 2019 after a valiant struggle with COPD. June was born June 27, 1930 to Archie C. Senier and Bessie G. (Brynn) Senier in Greeley, the 6th of 8 siblings. She grew up and attended school in Greeley and married George (Skip) Williams in 1948, and a daughter, Pamela June was born later that year. They later divorced and in 1963 she married G. Floyd Adams, and a son, Jeffery Floyd was born in 1964. Floyd passed away in 2004.
June was a hard worker and was employed in the offices of D&D Bean Co and Farr Farms in the 1950’s and for M&M Feedlot in the early 60’s. She became the office manager at Greeley Producers in the early 70’s and she would work there until she retired from full time work in 1979. She then worked for Dinner Bros part time for a few months before retiring completely. She lived in Greeley until 1987 when she and her family moved to their farm near Gill.
She loved her home and decorating and going to garage sales and thrift stores, as well as holidays with all her family.
She loved babies and would stop to admire them if she saw one in town. Her grandkids were dearly loved and she spent a great deal of time with them as they grew up, attending many of their events. She was also dearly loved by them and her great grandchildren.
June was a “people” person who never met a stranger. She could talk to someone and know more about them in 5 minutes than most of us could in a lifetime. She loved Jesus and was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Greeley, and then the Galeton Community Church for many years.
June was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Winfred, Robert, Woodrow, William, Frank, and Doral Senier and her sister, Gloria (Senier) Hastings. Sisters-in-law and Brother-in-law Hazel, Leone, Wanda, and Ruth Senier, and Jerry Hastings. Also, Valda and Lou Hudson, Wilma and Roy Ireland, Merrill, Laverne and Jean Adams. Two nephews, Randy Hastings, and Tim Ireland, a granddaughter, Rashea Heidenreich, a great grandson, Walker Heidenreich, and a great granddaughter, Justice Heidenreich.
She is survived by her daughter Pam and son-in-law Jack Heidenreich, her son Jeff and daughter-in-law Donna Adams, all of Gill as well as grandchildren, Tyler (Becky) Heidenreich of Dalhart, TX, Jayme (Chad) Gettman, Clint(Shawna) Heidenreich, Aiden Adams, all of Gill and Schyler (Aulie) Bennett of Las Vegas, NV. Great grandchildren, Wyatt (Tye) Heidenreich of Hudson, Weston and Landree Heidenreich of Dalhart, TX; Tanner Gettman of Crete, NE, Jayden Gettman, Liberty, Noah, and Emmarie Heidenreich all of Gill.
