Keith O. Richter

Keith Orville Richter was born on December 21, 1948 and passed away on July 14, 2022 at the age of 74. He graduated from Riverdale High and would work as an I & E Technician for Anheuser Busch in Ft. Collins, and the Platte River Power Authority Company. He also worked at power plants in North Dakota and Louisiana. Keith and Lylette grew up together on ranches in North Dakota and married on February 5, 1971. They spent 51 1/2 wonderful years together. To this union two children were born. Keith was a Vietnam Vet and served in the US Army from 1968-1970. Keith loved riding his Harley, but would only ride with Lylette. Keith and Lylette traveled many years on their Harley's. Their favorite ride was their 1987 Lowrider They rode to Sturgis for over 30 years. One of Keith's proudest moments was when he gave his Lowrider to his Son-In-Law, Curtis Burke for Father's Day in 2019 so it would remain in the family. He was the best "Nanny" for several years to his granddaughter McKynzie. He loved his family dearly! Keith also enjoyed woodworking. He attended church at Missouri Synod Lutheran. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; Orville and Bernice Richter, and one brother, Merrill Richter. He is survived by his children; Troy (Traci) Richter of Eaton, CO, and Effie (Curtis) Burke of Loveland, CO.; one granddaughter, two grandsons, and two great grandchildren.
