Kelli Michele Acromite

Kelli Michele (Davidson) Acromite was born April 17th, 1971 to Veleta Roe and Jim Davidson in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She considered Fort Collins her home, yet remained strongly connected to her roots in Oklahoma. She attended Coweta High School and graduated in 1989. 

Shortly after graduation she met Ty Shafer. They had a daughter, Sarah, in 1991 and a son Jack in 1995. In 1996, they moved to Craig, CO and they completed their family in 1998 with the birth of their son Dru. In 2001, they moved to Windsor, CO. Kelli met Gary Acromite and they were married on the beach in Mexico in 2009 where they made their blended family finalized. Gary and Kelli spent many years together making memories by traveling, skiing, golfing, and spending time with their children until Gary’s untimely death in 2021. 

Kelli is preceded in death by the love of her life Gary Acromite, mother Veleta Roe, grandfather Kenneth Roe, and best friend Tonya Bohrer. Kelli is survived by her grandmother Peggy Roe, father Jim Davidson, stepmother Sandra, her daughter Sarah, son-in-law Peter Sattler, and granddaughter Fiona, her son Jack, daughter-in-law Elesha Shafer, and grandchildren Dax and Mila, her son Dru, her stepdaughter Alyssa, son-in law John, their son Noah, her stepdaughter Aryca, son-in-law Mark Parton, their daughter Westlyn, her brother Rodney, his wife Julie Davidson, their three children Madi, Drake, and Emma, her brother Judd Davidson, and his son Saxton, her brother Tyler his wife Nancy, and their daughters Adela and Scarlett, and cousin that was more like a sister Jennifer Gatton, her husband Steve, and their son Cole. 

We will all carry Kelli’s memory forever in our hearts. A celebration of life will be Saturday, Febuary 11th, 2023 from 12:00 to 5:00pm at the Windsor Mill Tavern.
