Leona Schick

Leona Schick was born on December 24.1929 in Windsor Colorado to Gotfred and Lydia Fritzler Kraft. Leona attended Windsor High School.

Leona married Edwin W. Schick in 1948. They had 4 children. Jerry, Gale, Cheryl, and Carol. She was a true hard working farmer’s wife for many years. In 1974 they built their home in Windsor and Leona went to work at Kodak. She retired after 13 years in the film department. She cherished her neighborhood friends and her coworkers. She was a faithful member of Timberline Church Fort Collins and loved the PrimeTimers events.

Leona is survived by son Jerry (Linda) Schick  of Windsor, son Gale (Gay Lynn) Schick  Windsor, daughter Carol Schick Highlands Ranch, Son in Law Reid Gayman Ft. Collins. Surviving grandchildren are Dennis Schick, Brittany Schick, Kurtis (Lindsay) Gayman, Jared (Ashley) Schick, Michelle (Max) Odom . Great grandchildren are Jayden Schick, Aubrey Schick, Averi Odom, Brayden Odom, and Tate Odom, Rylee Gayman and Leyton Gayman.

Leona is preceded in death by her parents, husband Edwin W. Schick, daughter Cheryl Gayman, and son- in-law Alex Tallentire, brother Albert Kraft ( Lucille), sister Elsie Boxberger (John).

In leiu of flowers, the family requests donations in Leona’s name to the Timberline Church Ft. Collins or Serve 6.8.
