Linda Lou Hassinger, 78, of Windsor, passed away March 31, 2021 at Pathways Hospice in Loveland.
Linda was born July 12, 1942, to Carl and Evelyn (Empey) Moeller, in Idaho Fall, Idaho.
She graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. On March 8, 1969, she married Woodrow Hassinger in Idaho Falls.
She worked many years teaching. She also worked as a ski instructor in Park City Utah. She and Woodrow owned a river rafting company and would do guided rafting and camping trips. She and Woodrow raised three boys and she was involved with all of their activities. She loved to go dirt biking with the kids. Linda also enjoyed quilting. Woodrow was a pilot and they moved to many places including Idaho, Utah, Montana, Hawaii, Texas, Arizona, Guam and Colorado.
Linda is survived by her husband Woodrow of 52 years; sons Matthew (Reese) Hassinger, Andrew Hassinger, and Dustin (Carrie) Hassinger; sister Joann Schroeder; and her grandchildren Halle, Everett, Michael, and Jason; and her niece Nicole LaFleur.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Evelyn Moeller.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 9, at Marks Funeral Chapel, 9293 Eastman Park Dr., Windsor. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Windsor.
