September 19, 2024, at 7:00PM MT, Marietta Sprott Rosendale, Sittle to everyone that loved her, took her last breath to rest in peace from this life. The last of the 3 amazing, funny, strong, and courageous Sprott sisters, she was cherished and loved by family and friends. While she is gone, Sittle (Mom) will never be forgotten. For her children, she was an amazing woman that taught us to love others, to be tolerant but stand up for what is right, and to enforce inclusivity long before it was popular. She had a loving and outgoing personality that was clearly evident by her loud red hair that she loved later in life. She had a special place in her heart for cats and loved to care for her garden. In her final days and months, despite battling mobility challenges and dementia, her thoughts were of the love for her family and their safety. Her laughter, compassion, and joy of life will be dearly missed, but she will live forever in our hearts.
