Michele Dempsey

Michele Lydia Dempsey, 69, of Severance, died on January 29th 2022, at home with her daughters and
dearly devoted friends Terri Lucero and Marcy Mieczkowski. She was born April 4th, 1952, to Lawrence
Busch and Olga (Klocko) Busch in Philadelphia, PA. She married Lawrence Dempsey May 4th, 1981, in
Boulder, Colorado. Michele attended Little Flower Catholic High School for girls in Philadelphia, PA.
Michele was a stay-at-home Mom until her daughter Emily started kindergarten, when she began a
career as a para professional with Weld School Dist. 6 working at Jefferson Elementary and then
Maplewood Elementary for 31 years. She loved working with children, but her gift and passion was
being part of the lives of children with special ne eds. She was an amazing wife, mother, Nana and friend.
Her Emma, Frankie and Mathew were her world. She is survived by her daughters Sarah Lucero and
Emily Dempsey (Mathew Esquibel), sisters Barbara Je well PA and Karen Gould PA, Brother In-law Brian
Dempsey NY and grandchildren Emma Dempsey, Franches ca (Frankie) Lucero and Mathew Francis
Esquibel. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Services with celebration to immediately follow are to be held February 19th, 2022, at 10:00am at Our
Lady of the Valley Catholic Church 1250 7th St Windsor, Colorado 80550.
She would remind us all to live life to the fullest and make sure to make someone smile every day.
