In the great book of life the name of Neil Burdette Gabriel has been called. And he was anointed with myrrh and a great light shown upon him. Jesus is the light and He sent angels for this gentle man to appear with Saint Peter at the gates of heaven. Jesus met them both and spoke to this man ‘Who ever believes in me, shall have life everlasting.’ ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. From this day on, you shall be with Me and with the Father in the Kingdom of God and His Kingdom will have no end.’

I remember him telling me recently that it’s hard when I have out lived everyone that I knew. He had 96 years and one month of great memories. Not ever did I ever hear him speak badly of anyone nor did anyone ever say a bad word of Dad. He was always there if you needed him. He left us a great legacy and some very big shoes to fill and we all have been blessed to know him.
