Nettie Ann Martinez Roybal of Windsor Colorado passed away of ovarian cancer after a year and a half long battle at the age of 59. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother.
She was born on September 20, 1965 to Bartolome and Beatrice Martinez in Greeley Colorado. She was raised in Windsor Colorado graduating Windsor High School in 1984. While attending High School as a Junior she started her career at State Farm Insurance in Greeley. She married Jeff Roybal and had two sons Jeffrey and Andrew Roybal. Her path led her to a move to Houston Texas and later returning back to Colorado, continuing her career becoming a licensed insurance agent.
Nettie had a love of photography and was the designated photographer at all family events, which allowed her to escape having any photos taken of herself. She especially had a love for the outdoors and capturing nature in photos, even commenting that her pictures have to be worth a lot of money and should be in a calendar somewhere. Of all of her roles in life, her favorite was that of being a loving Grandmother to Lucas Roybal, Caden Roybal, Harper Roybal, Amelia Roybal and Heston Roybal.
She is survived by her parents Bartolome and Beatrice Martinez, sons Jeffrey Roybal and Andrew Roybal, her brothers: Alexander Martinez, Paul Martinez, Bart Martinez II, Gilbert Ernie Martinez and sister Bev Rhoades. She had a very large family which included 12 nieces and nephews and 12 great-nieces and nephews, who all had a special place in her heart. Nettie also had many friends that she made while her days at State Farm and PFS, and she cherished those friendships dearly.
