Patricia Felt, lovingly known as Trish, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, in Fort Collins, Colorado, at the age of 76. Born on September 6, 1948, in Virginia, Trish dedicated her life to nurturing both the land and her family. As a devoted horticulturist and groundskeeper, she cultivated beauty not only in gardens but also in the hearts of those around her.
Trish was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Gladys Davis, who have preceded her in death, along with her dear siblings, sister Peggy Schmidt and brother Joseph Davis Jr. Those who knew Trish were fortunate to witness her unwavering passion for gardening, a hobby that extended far beyond plants. It was a symbol of her nurturing spirit, reflecting her investment in the lives of her family and friends.
She leaves behind a legacy of love through her two daughters, Lisa Tackman-Ritter (Scott Ritter) and Nicole (Clay) Davis, who carry forward her commitment to family, imparting the values and warmth that Trish exemplified. Her grandchildren, Austin Tackman, Colin Davis, and granddaughter Caitlin Davis, were beams of light in her life, bringing her immeasurable joy and proud moments that she cherished deeply.
Trish was also surrounded by the love of her siblings, sister Linda Eisenbraun of Denver, sister Dina (Don) Holland of Oregon, brother Sam (Mary) Davis of West Virginia, and sister Pam (Rick) Browning of Tennessee. Their bond was a source of comfort and strength throughout her life.
In every garden she tended and every flower she nurtured, Trish found a reflection of her own spirit—vibrant, resilient, and ever-growing. She will be profoundly missed, but her love and legacy will continue to bloom within the hearts of those she cherished. Her gentle presence and nurturing touch will forever be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
