Paula Rios Hinojosa, 85, of Windsor Colorado passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 27, 2025.
She was born September 15, 1939 to Pedro and Guadalupe (Sanchez) Rios. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, canning, dancing, and making trips up to Central City to play the nickel slots. She was an avid Denver Bronco fan and enjoyed watching Colorado Rockies baseball.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Jesus Hinojosa, son Ernest (Ramona) Hinojosa, son Henry (Veronica) Hinojosa, daughter Gloria (Bennie) Garcia, daughter Irene Hinojosa, daughter-in-law Antonia Hinojosa, Grandchildren, Jeniffer Hinojosa, Jamee Gugel, Matthew Hinojosa, Korena Saenz, Camelia Dominguez, Priscilla Hinojosa, Daniel Garcia Jr, Nicholas Garcia, Paul Hinojosa, and Bernadette Munoz as well as 33 Great Grandchildren and 16 Great-Great Grandchildren. Siblings Victoria Morales, Hopie Rivero, Pete Rioz, Frank Rioz, Linda Rivero, and Ernestina Aragon.
She is preceded by her parents, daughter Mary Stella Hinojosa, sons Lional Hinojosa, Samuel Hinojosa, and Nicholas Hinojosa, Grandson Maurice Hinojosa. Siblings Jesse Rioz, Luis Rioz, Richard Rioz, Lawrence Rioz, Manual Aragon Jr, Andy Aragon, and Rosie Ortega.
Recitation of the Rosary will be Sunday, March 30th at Mark's Funeral Home at 6:00 pm and Burial Mass at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Windsor on Monday, March 31st at 11 am followed by internment at Lakeview Cemetery, Windsor Colorado.
