Robert Schmidt

Bob Schmidt, 72, passed away on July 29, 2022, in Berthoud, Colorado. Bob was born June 29, 1950, in Fort Collins to Harold and Ruth Schmidt. He grew up on the family farm west of Windsor and attended school in Timnath and Fort Collins.

Bob worked many different jobs, the last one being for US Home Construction Company. He also drove trucks for Ryder and U-Haul. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time, and he especially was fond of playing Bingo! He was a resident of Berthoud Care and Rehab since August 2020.

Bob is survived by his brother, Steve Schmidt of Windsor, sister Nancy Freas of Longmont, nieces and nephews Lana St. John of Highlands Ranch, Susan (Dave) Ray of Loveland, Chad (Michelle) Schmidt of Milliken, Peter (Lauren) Freas of Firestone and Andrew Freas of

Longmont. Great niece and nephews Michael (Kylie) Schmidt of Windsor, Paige (Robert)

Flanigan of Windsor, Tommy St. John and Alyssa St. John of Highlands Ranch, Ryker Freas and Avery Freas of Firestone, and great-great nephew Deegan Schmidt of Windsor. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Ruth Schmidt.
