Rosanna Lu Munroe11/19/1950 - 1/17/2025

A loving, humorous, and selfless daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her three loving children, on January 17th, 2025.

Rosanna Munroe was born in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, to Charley and Lucille Greaser. Growing up, she was a talented member of her horse-riding club. She also enjoyed square dancing, roller skating, and puzzles. Rosanna was adventurous, caring, and gifted throughout her life. She was always passionate about her career as a dental assistant, bringing bright smiles to her patients with both her skilled expertise and warm personality.

Rosanna valued helping others, fairness, and education. She made many positive impacts on others' lives through her work providing dental care to those without access in various countries. She also worked as a paraeducator for kindergartners and as a caregiver to adults with disabilities. You could always find Rosanna in a warm, cozy room under a few blankets, with a crisp Pepsi in hand and the Broncos competing on the TV. If it wasn’t the Broncos she was cheering on, it was her grandson's football teams she excitedly supported.

Rosanna was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Terry, Randy, and Liz. She is survived by her three children, Cyndi (Eugene), Darin (Katrina), and Juliann (Jeremiah); 14 grandchildren, Beau (Megan), Troy, Clayton, AnnaMae, McCoy, Aly, Leah, Zane, Levi (Caylee), Devin, Travis, Makenzie (Maverick), Degan, and Beckham; seven great-grandchildren, Adeline, Riley, Wylleaux, Magnolia, Ryatt, Matteks, and Weston; and her siblings, Rob (Jamie), Jeff (Lissa), and Dianna (Bob).

Rosanna deeply treasured her time with her family, embracing every new role that approached and accepting all new loved ones with excitement and optimism. We couldn’t have asked for a better mom, sister, and grandma. Rosanna’s legacy will always be known for her strength and resilience throughout life’s challenges, including the last few years of dealing with many health struggles. She was always a fighter and powered through all adversity.

We are crying tears of grief out of one eye and tears of relief out of the other, knowing her suffering has ended. We find comfort in cherished memories and the peace she now rests in. She was our rock and will be deeply missed.
