She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Francis Fetter, daughter Anne Marie Fetter, great-grandson Jett Thomas Fetter, parents Guy & Rosella Hillis, sister Margaret (Charles) Franks, and brother Donald Franks.

Ruth had a deep love for music, she was a skilled pianist and sang in the church choir. She was an avid golfer, volunteer at the hospital, and skilled gardener, who prided her self on her landscaping. Ruth applied her creativity while helping Tom as the advertising director at TCI. However, her greatest love was her family. She loved to play games with her sons, their wives and her grandchildren. She is fondly remembered for her prowess at her favorite card game Euchre. A devoted Grandma, she doted on her grandchildren often making root beer floats, pies, cowboy and tiger cookies. She was a longtime parishioner at St Edwards in Granville and she and Tom wanted to share their love for the church by donating to the church’s Baptismal Font and rebuild.
Ruth Hillis Fetter will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandmother who truly cared about others. May her soul rest in eternal peace with her husband Tom, daughter Anne Marie, and all those loved and lost.
