Shirley Price

Shirley Faye (Fouchs) Price went home to be with our Lord, on Saturday, May 28th, 2022. She was born in Folcroft, Pennsylvania, on November 1st, 1929, to Alexander & AnnaMae (Kitzmiller) Fouchs. Shirley was a younger sister to the late Dorothy Strohl, and the late Gladys Wagner, and older sister to Lois Mortimer of Linwood, Pa., Carol Roberts of Glenolden, Pa., and the late David Fouchs.

Shirley married her sweetheart Learoy R.L. Price, Jr. on November 19, 1949, who sadly passed away in September of 1990. During their 41 years of marriage, they were blessed with 7 children. Cheryl Jantzi of Arlington, VA, Roy Price of Emmaus, PA, Sherry Welker of Lutz, FL, Mitchell Price of Bardstown, KY, Gaye Price (deceased), Scott Price of Irvine, KY, and Cindy Rutt of Greeley, CO. Of the 6 surviving children, Shirley has 20 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

Last month, she and Cindy flew to Colorado for a 3-week vacation to enjoy the Spring season in Colorado with Cindy and Ron.

Sadly, mom passed during this visit. A memorial service will be held in Lutz, FL, on Saturday, June 11th at the 'Idlewild Church', followed by a luncheon at the Welker's home.
