Teagan Mount

December 20, 1996 — August 2, 2022

Teagan James Mount, 25, of Windsor Colorado, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, August
2nd, 2022. He is the twin brother of Collin Patrick Mount, and child of James Patrick (Janice)
Mount and Bronwyn Collins.
Teagan is remembered for his bold adventurous spirit, enjoying recreation in the Rocky
Mountains including hiking, biking, fishing, rock climbing, camping, and snowboarding. He is
remembered for his extraordinary artistic talent as a musician (piano, guitar, and violin),
singer, poet, songwriter, and actor. He is remembered for his generous, respectful, and kind
spirit. Most of all he is remembered as a friend, son, and brother who lived playfully and loved
deeply.
Teagan was born prematurely with Collin, and weighed only 2 lbs, 15 oz. He fought vigorously
through this and related challenges. That competitive nature drove him to explore and excel
across multiple arenas and embrace friendships across a variety of walks of life. Teagan was
both a strong workhorse and an engaging server, working most recently at Universal Forest
Products in Windsor and Algiers Hookah Bar in Fort Collins.
Teagan attended Windsor’s elementary schools, Windsor Charter Academy, Resurrection
Christian High School, and graduated from Windsor High School. He participated in the
Colorado Children’s Chorale, Cub Scouts, Civil Air Patrol, Karate, Robotics, orchestra, and
choirs. He also acted and sang in numerous plays at his schools, with the Windsor Community
Playhouse, and in Harrington Arts Academy.
“I am incredibly blessed, and I had forgotten that for a long time. Blessed to
have great friends, a loving family, and blessed to be able to try to give my
love to those around me, and blessed to give my life to my Creator”- Teagan
A Celebration of Teagan’s life was held at Council Tree Covenant Church in Fort Collins. The
service was facilitated by Pastor Bert Wright, with messages presented by twin brother Collin
Mount and mentor Travis (Rachel) Cobb of Brainard, Minnesota. More than 300 family,
friends, and caring community attended.
Teagan is survived by his twin brother and parents; bonus brother Brian (Chelsea) Smith of
Wellington, CO; bonus sister Nichole (Austin) Snow of Windsor, CO; Grandparents Jim and
Peggy Mount of Loveland, CO and Mark and Mary Collins of Greeley, CO; Bonus Grandmother
Judy Neve of Windsor, CO; five nephews; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins; and a
beautiful wealth of friends.
We are grateful for the love, support, and healing steps provided by Teen Challenge of
Brainard, Minnesota. As such, if you would like to make a donation to local ministries with
similar purpose in Teagan's name, please support the Fort Collins Rescue Mission or Harvest
Farm in Wellington, (both are operated by the Denver Rescue Mission): 2022 Fort Collins
Rescue Mission (denverrescuemission.org)
While Teagan was born earlier than expected and died earlier than we could have imagined,
we are grateful and blessed by the life he lived on Earth and the eternal life he now enjoys in
Heaven.
