Thelma Jean Chasteen

"TJ" Chasteen, 80, passed away December 27, 2018, surrounded by her family at her home in Windsor.
TJ was born Jan 7, 1938, in Fort Morgan to Jacob and Lillian (Schott) Stark.
He married Kenneth Chasteen in Golden on Sept. 25, 1982. She lived in Sterling, Denver, Houston, Severance, and Windsor.
TJ worked as a Medical Lab Manager. Her hobbies included being a painter, piano player, crafter, and artist. She was always family-focused. She attended the Northern Colorado Cowboy Church and did Bible Study out of her house.
She is survived by her children, Rhonda (Steve) Armknecht of Eaton, Richard Stone, Jr., of Conifer, Dale (Debbie) Stone of Bennett; Step-children: Cheryl (John) Johns of Cypress, TX, Kim (Luis) Berrueta of Spring, TX, Kenneth (Wendy) Chasteen of Montgomery, TX; Siblings Larry (Karen) Stark and Darold (Karen) Stark; 16 Grandchildren and 26 Great-Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her first husband and father of her children, Richard Stone.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, at the. Northern Colorado Cowboy Church, 33131 US-85, Lucerne, CO 80646.
