Tomas Garza

Tomás Ovidio Garza, Retired Master Sargent United States Air Force 1956-1978. 

Tomás is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Albesa, two sons Roberto and David. His oldest son Tomás Jr. preceded him in death, 2007. Tomás and Albesa have been blessed with 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. 

He was a great loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he cared for his family throughout his life. Through sickness and health and all adversities life bestowed upon them he was always there to lead and guide them through. A model to follow for all husbands to love your wives as Christ loved the church. Ephesians 5:25.He put into practice Proverbs 22:6 (KJV) “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Even though each one of his children were different, through his examples each did gain his best qualities. 

Tomás was extremely proud of his 22 years of service in the USAF. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and helped other veterans in obtaining assistance from the Veterans Administration for their service. He was a true Hero in the hearts of many.
