Wanda May Woodward (1942-2022)
Wanda Woodward, 79, of Windsor, passed away on February 28th at home
in the company of loved ones.
A graveside Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday May
9th at Lakeview Cemetery in Windsor with the Minister Jane Anne Ferguson
of Plymouth Congregational UCC, officiating. A reception will be held
immediately following at the Windsor Mill Event Venue at 301 Main St.
Unit D 2 nd level in Windsor.
Wanda was born in Denver, CO to Henderson DeWitt and Esther Daniel on
August 1 st , 1942. She went to school at West High School in Denver. She
married Jay Woodward on September 13 th , 1963 in Denver. Wanda was a
longtime resident of Windsor since 1976. She held positions in both the real
estate and retail industries over the years along with being a loving wife and
mother. Wanda always enjoyed cooking, golf, traveling, game night, going
to the theatre and spending time with family and friends.
Wanda is preceded in death by husband Jay Woodward, father Henderson
DeWitt Daniel, mother Esther Daniel and sister Joyce Nelson.
Wanda is survived by daughter Deborah Winick and husband Bradley, son
Jason Woodward and wife Alexandra, brother Charles (Chuck) Daniel,
grandson Sean Winick and wife Samantha.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you make donations to the
American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association. Two
wonderful organizations that support issues that have impacted our family.
