William Kenneth Miller, 26, of Fort Collins, was very unexpectedly taken away from us June 21, 2020.
Willy was born June 27, 1993, in Fort Collins to DeWayne Wilson and Wendy Riggs.
Everyone who knows Willy knows how loving and charming he was. He started going by Will in his adult life, but he's always been Willy to us so that's what we are going to call him. Willy didn't have many friends, and the ones he did have were his family. Family was everything to Willy. He had many loves including dogs, being a Juggalo, ATVs, dirt bikes, IPA beers, YouTube, Shayla, menthol cigarettes, and most importantly helping others. If he actually texted you back, you could count on him to help you with just about anything. He was raised by his parents to be a hard worker with many skills, and Willy never lacked in that department. He drove heavy machinery in a gravel pit for the last three years and loved it.
Willy attended Windsor schools. He loved shooting, paddle boarding, 4-wheeling, video games, cooking, going to concerts, and watching YouTube videos.
He is survived by his parents, DeWayne Wilson and Wendy Riggs; spouse, Shayla Lomme; sisters, Rhealen Riggs and Braelynda (Gabe) Esquibel; nieces, Kristen Nugent and Alyssa Riggs, Grandmother, Karen Bershinsky; Grandfather, Thirston Wilson; and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, June 29, 2020, at Marks Funeral Chapel, 9293 Eastman Park Dr., Windsor followed by a reception at the home of his mother.
Willy suffered from depression and other mental disorders his whole life. Due to the stigma around getting help, he just suffered through it which led to struggles with various addictions. A GoFundMe account has been set up at https://gf.me/u/yasc3f
