William Robert “Keltch” Thompson, 76, of Windsor, Colorado, passed away December 2, 2021 at the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado.
William was born January 6, 1945, to Marshall and Dorothy (Hertoch) Thompson in Summerville, Mass.
He grew up in Arlington, Mass., and graduated from Arlington High School. He attended
Burdett Junior College where he studied Business.
After college he was drafted into the Marines and served in the Vietnam War. After his military service he moved to Colorado where he owned and operated Independence Lodging in Aspen for many years.
Survivors include his brother, Gary Thompson, niece. Kelly Ann, and nephews Marshall Thompson III, Derek Thompson. He is also survived by his great nephews, Marshall Thompson, Jacob Thompson and Zachary Thompson.
William is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Marshall Jr.
